This past weekend, I was able to stop by the store "Magnolia" and catch a glimpse of this baby of Chip and Joanna Gaines (from the show Fixer Upper). If you don't know who they are, read about them HERE.
My Instagram and Facebook friends kept commenting how they wish they could stop in, so I snapped some photos with my iPhone (excuse the poorer quality and size). These are simply snapshots and a quick glimpse of the store. You MUST visit yourself someday. But in the meantime, you can live vicariously through me. :)
Throngs of people wait in lines to get inside!
The line wrapped around the block! (Yes, it was worth the wait!!)
My college roomie and me... (first time back to Baylor University since graduation 17 years ago)
Everyone in line was so lovely. You wouldn't guess that it is quite chilly with a breeze.
I assume these are the bicycles of some of the college students working inside. Darling little set-up.
Here are the silos in their rusty, magnificent glory!
Well, this just warmed my heart and my body. Hot chocolate being passed out to those waiting in line.
Barn doors adorned with the sweetest wreaths.
Right inside the door was this darling vignette on the wall.
"but I think I love fall most of all"
The store was bustling with shoppers!
Here, a table with some of Joanna's signature scents.
Everything... perfection!
Do you spy my name in the guest book?
So many beautiful silks... I was so busy looking, I should have been shopping!!
Even the artificial trees looked so real! Remind me why I didn't just load the car down? I really am kicking myself now.
Potting station
I love how real all of her silks look.
Tables filled with goodies! The employees were literally restocking constantly. I turned around and this table was empty. Turned back around and employees had filled it back up!
You know how much I love a good Turkish hand towel. I use them for napkins! Similar found here.
My very favorite vignette!
If you brought you husband or boyfriend, you could find him over at "Chip's Corner." The Best Stuff!! It reminded me of the old Restoration Hardware... when they had interesting trinkets from days gone by, that you HAD TO HAVE! I really wish I picked up some things for my boy's stockings!
The infamous signature "Magnolia Wreath."
This one they couldn't keep in stock!
Twine with scissors because we all need some twine with scissors, right?
Gorgeous faux evergreen wreaths
I actually fluffed these pillows on the pew to take a picture and some ladies came and sat right down!! :) I don't blame them. It was so wonderful seeing so many excited people in the shop.
This black and white marble trivet was screaming to come home with me. And the Pigs!
Icing on the cake? Joanna's darling mother wrapping up packages and working behind the desk.
As you check out, look down.
Making my way toward the exit, into the grain barn, was an antique fair. They had me at Hello!
A few booths filled with goodness.
And now I take you outside to the food trucks and turf grass where children where frolicking.
Various toys set strategically around to encourage play. Old church pews for resting after a hard day shopping.
Food trucks and picnic tables and plenty of play space
And now I bring you to the garden...
Seriously...
I couldn't take it all in. It is just too darling for words.
Topiaries in a tray. Perfect.
A tee pee with wooden mushroom stools, a basket of books, and children reading. This isn't staged, folks. Too darling!!
I truly believe that the Gaines family IS so very thankful for what God has blessed them with. I pray that their family will continue to be blessed and that God richly rewards them for the positive role models that they are.
I hope you enjoyed my little tour around Magnolia Farms Store and Silo!
xox,
Emily
